The project is dedicated to the problem of unemployment among young people (up to 30 years of age) and the lack of experience of these people and mismatch between their skills to the real needs of the labor market. The objective of the project is to provide employees of Labour Office in Chojnice and Pro Europa Fundation from Toruń with the skills that they can effectively and efficiently support young people in the process of retraining and seeking employment. The project participants will collect at the mobility experience in conducting professional counseling, the provision of individual support for the unemployed, especially in the course of their functions by the project participants client advisers, learn how coaching, So that they can help young people in choosing the right career path. Employees both the sending organizations will improve also methods of organize training and traineeships for clients, especially in terms of attractiveness and usefulness of programs, according to which learning takes place. Also learn how to cooperate with other entities on the labour market, especially with employers and schools, to monitor more effectively the demand for skills and in advance create a list of professions, which in the future will demand.
The project will be attended by 16 people. 12 employees of Labour Office and 4 of Foundation. They will be trainers, the drafters of practical training programs, vocational counselors, specialists for vocational developments, specialists for programs, and the person performing the functions of client advisors and tutors trainees.
Before the start of the mobility of the project participants will take the cultural and linguistic preparation, to be able to pre know the Portuguese reality and refresh their own language skills. During mobility we had planned visits and job shadowing in 12 institutions. We will visit the vocational schools for youth and adults, Labour Office, business association, as well as several workplaces, which is implemented in a practical vocational training. We will observe the work of teachers and trainees, we will talk with students and lecturers, meet with entrepreneurs and employees responsible for professional activation. Through contact with the representatives of the various groups existing in the Portuguese labor market we know the opinions on the effectiveness of professional activation methods. In this way we determine which patterns should we use and know the weaknesses of the solutions.
The project will result in particular an increase in the level of customers service, higher employment effectiveness of trainings and internships, better alignment of training programs to the needs of the unemployed and employers' expectations. Through equip young unemployed in skills, increase the effectiveness of recruitment conducted by us, because employers prefer to employ skilled workers. More effectively, we will also be able to carry out professional counseling, especially for persons in difficult life situation.
The results of this project will influence the environment in which we live and work. In our environment, we can promote new solutions observed in Portugal, inspire to discuss their. In this way, we will increase interest in the issue of effective training and support young people in search of work. Our objective is to prove that the education and prevention of unemployment can not be separated. We should look for an agreement with the business world, that through mutual understanding, create better solutions for youth entering the labor market.
