The project is initiated in the context of the needs from constant updating and upgrading of knowledge, skills and competencies of students, especially in economic professions, in which the electronic services and the use of specialized software products and information systems are moving rapidly, so that they would be adequate with the European labor market demand.The choice of topics of the training practice is determined by several factors: the policy of the European Commission, aimed at replacing the tax and customs procedures, which use paper forms and the introduction of electronic forms, valid throughout the European Union; the introduction of international accounting standards and in this regard the need to increase the competence of trainees in vocational education for the implementation of international standards; the state educational standards, involving the use of new equipment, computer networks, systems and software associated with the profession.The project envisages conducting four weeks mobilities in the city of Barcelona, Spain, entirely in real working environment in reputable companies that are specialized in the field of customs and tax services, accounting and business consulting and intensive use of modern ICT in their work.Beneficiaries of the project are 40 students from specialty "Customs and Tax Administration", "Economics and Management", "Trade" and "Economic Informatics" and 4 teachers, divided into two mobility groups.The training will include two key themes (modules): 1. Electronic customs and tax services. Application of information technologies in customs and tax services of companies and 2. Practical application of international accounting standards in accounting and ICT services to companies.Methods of mentoring and tutoring during practice in real working environments include instruction in the workplace, demonstration of various operations and activities, conducting practical workshops, evaluation of individual practical tasks and teamwork in a real working environment.The specific objectives of the project are:- Formation of professional skills for electronic processing of customs and tax documents, observing the principles of European policy in terms of customs and taxation;- Improving the skills of the beneficiaries to apply international accounting standards;- Acquisition of skills to work with new software, information technologies and systems in customs, tax and accounting services;- Increasing language skills in Spanish and English language and communication skills of users in the specific professional field;- Understanding the specifics of socio-cultural and business environment in Barcelona and building a multicultural experience.Before mobility students will undergo preparation for acquiring professional terminology in English and Spanish in the field of the profession, enriching the knowledge about the Spanish culture, national specificities and differences, tax and customs legislation of EU and the harmonization in individual countries, the principles of international accounting standards and the challenges in their implementation.As a result of mobility students will expand their professional skills, will learn new skills to work with modern software and information systems for customs, tax and accounting services.Through the practice will be improved also personal and social competences. Students will build basic work habits and job skills such as punctuality, responsibility, adaptability, honesty, discipline, respect deadlines, prioritizing tasks, teamwork and others.In addition, participants will develop their personal competencies through improved social skills, increased self-confidence, ability to interact with different cultures, the expansion of social contacts, fostering a sense of European citizenship and a European identity.The accompanying teachers will improve their competencies in the professional field in which they teach, will improve its capacity to tackle the challenges related to the modernization of education and the opening of vocational school in cooperation with organizations and employers from other countries.The competences and experiences acquired during the mobility will be integrated into the strategic development of Varna School of Commerce and will create long-term benefits and added value of the project by improving teaching methods in practice and incorporating the latest trends and practices, updating teaching material, establishing a system for better tracking of quality practices in a real working environment and achieved educational results, expansion of international partnerships.
