“Migrants, war refugees and their potential impact on an aging Europe” is a project by Associação de Divulgação Cultural de Mora in cooperation with Sportjugend Hessen from Germany and Babylonie from Czech Republic. This youth exchange will take place in Mora and Oeiras, Portugal, from the 6h of August to the 16th with groups of 8 young people and 1 leader per country. Participants will have the chance to learn more about youth emigration/migration and youth mobility across Europe, the recent refugees crisis and other related issues regarding their countries/regions and Europe through non-formal education in a multicultural atmosphere. There are many activities to help to achieve an effective learning and to promote cultural interaction values – cultural nights, mixed team challenges, mixed team workgroups, activities with local community and study visits to the Institutions of this region and workshops dedicated to the exchange theme.With this project we hope that our participants wake up, discuss and evaluate the youth unemployment problem and the european profissional mobility in a, more than ever, Europe without frontiers. It's our intention that this project can have a positive impact in the participants, other local and regional organisations and in the local community so that in the future they can participate or even organize similar youth projects.
