There will be two participants from each partner organisation, one youth worker who will be a group leader during the following youth exchange and one representative of policy-makers or local stakeholders from each country. Finally, two youth exchanges will take place in Egypt (February 2018) and Italy (March 2018), involving more than 60 participants in total between 18 and 25 years old. During the youth exchanges, the participants will have the chance to live a strong intercultural experience and widen their perception on diversity and migration. The goal of the project is to develop practices and experiences for the encounter with intercultural diversity, in order to raise awareness on the topics of migration and xenophobia. The possibility for young participants, youth workers and local stakeholders from both sides of the Mediterranean sea to be involved in this process will represent a unique opportunity of cooperation and non-formal education practices.
