The current proposal intends to contribute to spread in a systematized, coherent, user friendly, easily comprehensible way the available knowledge on the most recent advancements and limitations in the fast growing, resource and knowledge intensive application domain of Micro- and Nanotechnology based products and services. The participants will gain knowledge and improve the methodology and systems for Micro Nano Manufacturing Technologies to design, develop and manufacture miniaturized products.One of the key factors to succeed against the competition from low wage countries is the effort to design and manufacture complex and highly functional miniaturized multi-material parts/components capitalizing on the latest technological developments in micro and nano manufacturing technologies, along the whole process chain. Target trainees are technical managers working in high tech European industries, often SMEs characterized by quality, knowledge intensive production and reliability in the results.
