PROJECT
FINISHED
We wish to provide additional ressources for our Vocational Section students, in order to develop their curriculum and to improve their qualification profile.
The skill level and abilities of these students are far too often disregarded. Undoubtedly in the future those who are going to be involved in the Erasmus + mobility programme will greatly benefit from it. Their mobility will be an essential feature proving their involvement in their academic qualification -and will be a positive indication not only about their language skills but also about their degree of autonomy. This experience should lead them to a greater amount of self-confidence and it should be a guarantee of their commitment within an international project requiring a mastering of the various means of communication. Also it should be an asset in their professionnal experience and a great help when entering their professionnal carreer.
8 students are planned to be involved in the project-out of a global number of 135 students enrolled in the Fashion and Textile vocational section. Later on as the project develops the number of candidates may increase, but our main endeavour first relies in the accurate handling of the mobility scheme – that is to say exploring all its potentialities before planning to enlarge it.
Our methodology will be based on a peer-to-peer exchange with our european partners as we are ready to offer similar services as the ones we expect from them : i.e. monitoring internships, helping the students finding accomodation or an appropriate company, advising them in terms of internship funding or providing help in the students'skills assessment.
Hemingway High School endeavours to be deeply anchored within a european structure - which has gradually become part and parcel of any EEC citizen, be it academically or professionnally speaking
