METROPOLIS is active exploration and urban learning between parks and street canyons: Participants can experience the City of Wiesbaden actively and inter-culturally. The urban environment offers a wide variety of possibilities to explore and activities to choose from and provides options for personality development. Soft skills, such as capacity for teamwork, decision-making ability, communication and empathy are to be made experienceable for the participants and can be exercised in the learning section „City“. The learners are motivated to act actively, interactively and communicatively. The activities should challenge the participants and allow for a change in perspective. Experiences, creativity, imagination, curiosity and joy will be set free by the exploration of the city. Experiential opportunities and activities in the city are varied and the character-buliding possibilities are to be easy and effective. On the youth exchange METROPOLIS – Urban Space 60 youth from 14 – 17 years will participate, partner countries will be Cyprus, Poland, Rumania, France and Germany.
