Mentoring for young entrepreneurs is a project with partners from Slovenia, Croatia, Portugal, Yemen, Kazahstan and Iraq. It will take place from 1.10.2014 until 1.2.2016. The problem of the project deals with the insufficient number of entrepreneurial initiatives among young people. The causes of this problem are lack of entrepreneurial education in schools and low awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship learning in schools. Direct effects of the problem are insufficient number of new companies whose founders are young and loss of entrepreneurial potential among young people. Indirect effects of this problem occur in higher youth unemployment and their low qualification for the establishment of (successful) companies. One of the main activities of the project will be the creation of a web portal for supporting the implementation of entrepreneurial education in schools , in conjunction with the real needs of the corporate and education of coaches, who will be trained in teaching entrepreneurship in schools . Impact of the project will increase employment and employability of young people and generating new business ideas of young people with business mentors who are experienced entrepreneurs. Project will consist from several actions. The first will be training course in Slovenia, where participants will be trained to lead workshops in their own countries. After training course every parter will implement workshops with students from local schools. After that we will implement youth exchange in Croatia. Next big international event will be seminars in Kazakhstan and Iraq. Last evaluation meeting will take place in Yemen. Between major international events, parter organizations will implement several local/national activities with their schools (high schools and some universities) and students. In those local events we will connect students and companies.Otehr results of the project will be several videos and animated videos, and manual for NGOs with description of all used methods during the project.
