MEJORA DEL INGLÉS E IMPLEMENTACIÓN DEL FRANCES EN EL CFA BARBERÀ

CFA Barbera is an adults' school that admits students from 18. While there are students who attend for personal fulfillment , most of them go to the center to improve their training in order to achieve better employment. English is a compulsory subject in the curriculum and at the same time , taking into account the socio- center environment , learning is considered basic to progress in the workplace and thus achieve the integral formation of students, ultimate goal of training adult .There is a primary teacher and a secondary teacher that teach subjects of the area of English. These teacher need recycling at level of knowledge of the society, culture and English language. Before these detected needs, the center proposes the achievement of two mobilities for the English language teachers: - the first mobility to England organized by International Study Programmes, to improve the oral skill and written as well; and, - the second mobility to Dublin, Ireland, organized by English Matter, to study in depth aspects related to the English sociocultural environment. It has thought and chosen these courses because, in addition to providing a work methodology in group and exchange with professionals of other countries, they include also workshops and all this in an English language context. There are interesting courses as for contents and, therefore, they can be motivating for the teachers who help.The School tries to be able to introduce also the French language inside the area of "Competències de la societat de la informació", for possible pupils of the center who are interested in this language, in the being a route of labor insertion in an area so next to France. There is a primary teacher at the school , whose specialty is French language, which would be the person indicated to be able to carry out this formation. The courses foreseen to update and to perfect the knowledge and competitions in French sound: - improving and methodology for teachers of FLE, in Nice (France) - knowledge update in French culture for teachers of FLE in Vichy (France)With this project, the targets that try to manage are: 1. To improve the educational offer of the center. 2. To improve the qualification of the teaching personnel. 3. To improve the teaching practice of our students.To obtain these targets, there has been made a project to be developed in two years where six phases are contemplated. There has been foreseen also the diffusion of the results of this one to obtain the impact wished at different levels (participants, organizations and groups recipients). A key element is the evaluation of the project. On the one hand, this one must be continuous and regular to detect possible aspects to modify inside the process and power like that to fit dynamics to the detected needs. On the other hand, a final evaluation is contemplated with the target to obtain the maximum profit of the experience for its future application. All this from a few indicators and instruments of evaluation. To sum up, our project, bearing in mind the European dimension, claims, on the one hand, a progress of the professional competitions of the assistants through the immersion in the day to day whithin a country of French and English language, and on the other hand , a better knowledge of the social, cultural and economic structures of the visited countries; aspects that undoubtedly are going to suppose a positive impact both in our students and in our center, and, obviously, in our educational and social community in general.
