PROJECT
FINISHED
Our project title was Build more Europe. Nine teachers were in five different EU countries and they could built a lot of european contacts. Insofar we reached the Minimum Level. The next school year will show us if we can involve our students in grades 5-7 in eTwinning projects or other small communication projects. The background is to make the language learning process more vivid. In doing so, we would like to create a desire for further school exchanges The challenging target to get four student exchanges instead of two is cancelled for the moment because our main organizer got ill. But we are successful in our way to a become a bilingual school, we habe already three ages with bilingual classes.
The training courses which took place in Ireland, England, Italy, Spain and Austria made our participants keen to organize more European projects and they all got new information about modern technologies and CLIL. Now it is important that the existing contacts of the participants don't get lost and that the existing ideas will become real projects. For our school we need a new EU representative who pays attention on all these activities and supports new ideas. It might be easy to find a candidate among our participants.
In the new school year we should write a new Erasmus KA1 application to support our European way. To build more Europe remains an important target for which all efforts are worth. Especially when national voices are getting more successful.
