Meet&Greet is a term used in public relation, especially for famous people. Then it aims to create an intense fan connection.It is also sometimes used during congresses where it creates an informal space to get together. These points are also the main objective of the Job Shadowing-project Meet&Greet: To foster an intense and trustful connection between the participating organisations and indviduals by offering the space and time to meet and to learn more about each other. Meet&Greet involved the NGO Theater Vison e.V. (Leipzig) as applicant association that elaborates art projects for youth & adults and is active in the field of cultural education, the UK based youth art intitative ivo and the recently founded cultural production company Blühende Landschaften (Leipzig). The Job Shadowing took place from 13th to 22nd of october in Leipzig and was composed of a series of daily activities that tangled different topics (such as Art&Education, Refugees, Gender and Working conditions) and methods (workshops, discussions and particicpating observations). The project outcome is a a trustful relationship between the participants which will be the basis for following projects and a greater understanding for the capacities and working conditions in the participating organisations. It was decided to create a future cooperation which will be started by an experimental postal project in which writing letters is used to develop the content of the follow-up-project.
