MATT- Młodzi Aktywni Twórcy Teraźniejszości
Start date: Aug 25, 2014, End date: Feb 24, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project MATT - Young Active Creators of Present is aimed at 30 people of the ages 13-30. The primary goal of the project is to see that we, the young people, and our voice is important for society. We want to confront with problems through meetings with policymakers, debates and consultations. Anyone who wants to can participate in the project - sex, confession or skin colour does not matter. We want to act. Together. At first, we will be discussing difficulties and problems that concern us. Then we will be selecting and trying to find a way to solve this problems. The first opportunity to presenting our submissions will be the debate with candidates for president of Kędzierzyn-Koźle. The culmination of our acts will be releasing “The postulate of young for better tomorrow”. This document will be aimed at policymakers and will include priorities, goals and needs of young society. Benefits will be bilateral – we, the young people, will become confident and aware, policymakers will see that they are observed and they perception and activity must be higher. Owing to this project, we will acquire knowledge and skills, which help us not just in our political life, but also in social life – controlling over emotions, working in groups and media methods are just a few examples. Actions like this, perhaps will be changing people’s thinking about the role of democracy, state and society.
