Masterchef is a youth Exchange which will take place in La Pobla de Claramunt, a small village in Catalonia between the 9th and the 17th of October. The 20 participants come from France, Italy and Spain. As its name suggests, the project is focused on gastronomy. By cuisine we will consider other three interrelated topics: health, ecology and culture. We will deal with these subjects in a pragmatic way. We will learn typical recipes from the other mediterranean countries and recipes of alternative cusine, vegan and macrobiotic, with enjoyable activities. All of this will be possible thanks to the venue we will have during the stay: a big country house, located between the mountains and the fields, which has a perfect kitchen for our activities and areas for leisure time, both inside and outside. The youth leaders take part to a previous meeting where they plan some of the activities, understand their role of responsibility and motivation which will be really important for the proper realisation of the further exchange. We will find the interior chef of each participants and we will achieve to make them masters in creative cuisine, responsible in the environmental issues, personal health and traditional cuisine.
