Management and Assessment of Electronic Services for Technicians and Retailing Operations

In the MAESTRO project, an innovative and complete business process modelling and evaluation system, along with an e-learning methodology was proposed and tested. We exploited the extensive previous research and existing methodologies in the area of traditional education evaluation and especially in the area of students’ evaluation of (traditional) teaching effectiveness. Our innovation in this proposal pertains in finding the training needs of an enterprise, or generally a specific group, and then in using an extended new methodology for evaluating e-learning, which focuses both on the extent of use of the e-learning system by the learners and the extent of accomplishment of the educational objectives as central dependent variables. Transferring of innovation was implemented in an international level. The technical and research experience gained, as well as the products designed were employed in Bulgaria, Rumania, Sweden and Finland. The content created in one partner was translated in the native language of another. Since the whole procedure is web-based, transferring the innovation was automatically accomplished through electronic means.Additionally, the dissemination activities included publications in journals and conferences and a workshop that was planned. Moreover, the large amount of users that were involved contributed to the dissemination of the project results.
