Make it Happen is a start to do things better for your and for your community. It is a way how to explore your levels of action, especially when talking about youth who needs to understand their strengths and their points for improvement, every interpersonal relationship, every goal, every strategy. Young people need guidance and support in order to achieve personal and professional goals and need also instruments to learn about themselves. On the training course for youth workers and youth leaders there will be 26 participants from 13 different countries. The participants will be youth workers involved in the activities of the partner organisations. The objectives of the project are:• to provide youth organisations with an understanding of the concept and practice of personal development to youth.• to experiment different tools and exercises from personal development with the emphasize on the use of coaching.• to have a glimpse at intercultural learning with personal development tools.• to stimulate exchange of good practices at an organizational, professional and personal level of the partners working in education and volunteering field across EuropeGenerally, the methods that will be used are rather non-formal, non-frontal and participative. The methods are chosen in a way to allow for a maximum of substantial learning effects, meet the needs of the group and encourage a high identification and ownership of the participants with the content and process of the training. It is very important for us to take the “real-life” cases and the experience of the participants and their organizations and to work with these. Youth workers -participants will have new tools in working with young people, they will be supported in the creating new activities and put into practice new skills acquired through the training. They will benefit by increased opportunities for professional development and they will also increase their motivation and satisfaction in their daily work by having a better relationship with their young beneficiaries and members of the staff.
