MADE IN EUROPE has been an opportunity to better understand the cultures of Europe through their expressions of traditional craftsmanship shared through workshops, in which participants learn and share different techniques to create unique objects that tell us about the traditions of each country and enable them to learn the importance of local production.
From 16 to 24 September 2015, 25 young people from Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria and Spain have live together in the youth hostel of Tefía in Fuerteventura, to learn more on the craft traditions of Europe, and how they speak of the adaptation of peoples to the environment in which they live through the use of natural resources in each region.
The 25 young Europeans also have the opportunity to participate in the Traditional Romeria of La Peña, and share with the local youngsters and the local audience,all the objects that have learned to create in these 9 days together, revealing and the cultural values that have create the current generation of youngsters "Made in Europe"
