M.E.T.A. - Methodology of Evaluation in the Training of Apprentices

The M.E.T.A. project aims to both develop the role of tutors as learning facilitators during apprenticeship training and undergo assessment of the competencies acquired by apprentices beyond the training period.To achieve these objectives, the project will undergo a range of activities to include; analysis of existing practices in learning support; production of tutor-support tools to further improve the level of learning support (a competencies-assessment handbook and a checklist will be produced in IT, FR, EL & NL); a comparative survey concerning the range of existing apprenticeship courses & competencies-assessment and introduction of a dedicated website for use by both project partners and project beneficiaries.The outcomes of these activities are expected to provide learning support to tutors, apprentices and the apprentice training sector in general.To raise awareness of the outcomes and products of the project, the aforementioned website will be developed to further inform upon the activities and achievements of the project, in addition, specialist project newsletters will be published and a final project conference will be hosted.
