This project "LOOK UP! THE REAL WORLD IS WAITING FOR YOU "is a youth exchange that is framed within Erasmus + KA1 and will take place from 13th to 19th April 2015 in Puente Genil (Córdoba, Spain).
This project is aimed at young people between 18 and 30 years from Armenia, Georgia, Hungary, Poland and Spain. They will be a total of 30 participants (6 per country).
"Look Up!" Arises from the need of considering the partner organizations to analyze the situation of young people about the use of social networks. After this analysis, we found that most young people spend most of the day "hooked" to the mobile phone or computer and they forget personal relations and direct physical activity and it is creating some negative consequences for young people that affect their health directly.
Therefore, the objectives we have set for this project are:
a) Know advantages and real disadvantages of ITC related to social networks
b) Foster a personal relationship based on direct interaction among young people, intercultural dialogue and a healthy lifestyle
c) Encourage the youth to carry out active European citizenship
d) Promote tehe improvement of self-esteem and personal knowledge
These objectives will lead to the achievement of a number of learning outcomes related to improve skills several maternal and foreign language, ITC, social, intercultural competences ...
Meanwhile, they will also improve their technological skills as they will work on a blog and social networks to disseminate and exploit the project results.
And of course, we can not forget that for young people, this youth exchange is a great way to improve their social skills to interact with the rest, to speak in public and to open their mind to other cultures.
To do this, carry out the following activities:
- Activities of presentation and knowledge
- Activities about addiction to social networks
- Activities about advantages and disadvantages of social networks
- Activities to analyze how we feel in relation to social networks
- Visits
- Social Media Activities
- Activities to encourage teamwork instead of individual work
- Activities about conflict resolution
- Activities of self-esteem
- Outdoor activities
- Activities to develop and improve skills to energize children, young people and adults
- Activities to create new projects

The methodology will be participatory through teamwork, creative creations, simulation games, discussion forums, expression of feelings, public speaking ...
With this project, we also try to make an impact at the local, regional, national, European and international levels; as the dissemination and exploitation of results of it will allow us to advertise the project and give us the ability to create new networks for future projects and youth from all over the world could be interested in the subject and undertake projects in the Erasmus + program.
