This Training Course is tailored for youth workers who want to improve their intercultural skills needed in international and intercultural working places. It will provide them with useful knowledge, skills and attitudes on e.g.: effective communication, negotiations in intrcultural environment, non-discrimination and culturally-specific norms and behaviours. It will let active and motivated young people to get self-confidence and skills necessary to be successful in international youth work and be more effective in achieving their own goals (and goals of their youth NGOs). We will gather 24 participants from 12 countries (EU and Eastern Partnership) for a week-long training course full of practical excercises, case studies, workshops, games and simulations on different aspects of intercultural relations in a youth work. Results of this project - handouts with gathered knowledge, brochures on organizational cultures of participating countries and hints and clues for youth leaders - will be distributed through various channels, including SALTO tools, webpages, social media and newsletters of all participating organizations.
