In order to implement the most efficient VAS in the respective ports it is vital to acquire information regarding the kind of goods, transport flows as well as volume. Thus one of the projects objective is to gain a integrated data basis for traffic flows within the Baltic Sea Region. Based on such a general data base business concepts for ports and also their respective corresponding ports are possible to elaborate. Potential VAS can be identified and implemented.
