The everyday life at school including lessons and leisure activities in a day school in Berlin is a big and important part within the life of youth. Therefore we chose for our project the slogan ' living Europe in daily life'. The volunteer who carries out her service in this project contributes to raise the awareness for Europe. She experiences herself the benefit and possibilities of the European community and makes it visible for others. The volunteer takes part at the multifaceted activities of the host project. She supports the kids to do their homework, accompanies creative workshops and sportive activities as well as encouragement of social learning and participation. Beyond that she can contribute with her skills and strengths like language skills or creativity. By example as a European volunteer she should motivate the youngsters for the idea of Europe, to show interest in European programs and identify themselves more as European citizens
