“Live, Act, Volunteer” project is a sending EVS Project under Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 1. This joint activity which will be organized in Link (Italy) and will consist of 2 EVS projects for 4 disadvantaged volunteers in social and economical terms. These EVS-projects aim to develop young people’s competences by providing voluntary activities in the themes of youth participation, youth work and policy, intercultural and lifelong training and learning. This project specifically aims to motivate volunteers in living a new experience, taking action in their lives and being volunteer as part of their life long learning process. The volunteers will gain the necessary skills and self-confidence to take action for their future by participating in civil society activities by having the chance to be volunteer in a Non Governmental Organization which is active in local and European level.What is more is that, the volunteers will increase their awareness on European identity, active cizienship, intercultural dialogue and solidarity by having the chance to live in Europe with a new linguistic, social, and cultural environment. In addition, the volunteers will gain new competences and will have a positive impact on society by developing their own projects and by collaborating with young people from different cultural backgrounds.
