The objective of the project "Life is for living" is to broaden the horizons and attitudes, develop learning skills of young people and to get new and innovative ideas, new breathing to the organization. To meet the objective 2 young people will be nominated to work long-term as volunteers in Turkey. The hosting organization is dealing with people with specific needs promoting equal opportunities , social inclusion and decreasing unemployment among youth. The organisastion also stands for social solidarity and develops intercultural dialogue between different communities. The volunteers who are going to the service are active and motivated young people. One of them is with specific needs – she is hard of hearing. The main activities the volunteers will be involved comprise communication with other youth with specific needs, physical activities, arranging and running cultural events and workshops to promote and develop solidarity and understanding withing young people with different backrounds. The organisation coordinating the process and nominating young volunteers from Estonia is THINK Eesti. The hosting organization in Turkey is ENGELLİ EĞİTİM KÜLTÜR SAĞLIK SPOR VAKFI. Both organizations have been collaborating partners for a long time which has built trust and foundation to smooth and reliable implementation of the project. As an outcome of the project both organizations have got new breathing and implement innovative ideas , knowledge and experience gained during the volunteership on behalf of their organizations and other unions, associations in the country.
