Our project called “LETS MAKE A CIRCLE” is about culture in the way of carrying out cultural differences and similarities, different senses of cultures from all around the world and getting together with our common values of culture. The project got the youngs from different countries together to discuss culture on different aspects such as art, music, dance, language, traditions, historical monuments, childhood games, cultural stereotypes etc. We had five different countries as partners which are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Eygpt, Slovakia, Italy, and Macedonia. There will be 30 participants aged of 16-30 from partners and Turkey. The project took place on 24-31 October in 2014 in Bursa. Our project activities were video shooting about participants first impressions about Turkey and it's culture, talking about culture and different culture aspects of participant countries, watching short movie about culture and discussion about it, learning participants' languages, role plays about participant countries stereotypes, comparing traditions/ similarities and talking about culture shock. In our project we showed Turkish culture to participants by introducing them Turkish bath, shadow play, Iznik Trip, Iskender Kebap, derwish show. The participants introduced their culture to the other participants, hereby, youngs met with new cultures in an international, peaceful environment. Thanks to this project we as organizers gained lots of experience. As an enforces of the project,, Turkish team was responsible for the execution of the project. During the project we used non-formal learning techniques which supplied participants observe their learning strategies and their different kinds of skills. We prepared youthpass certificates which the participants fill them their own at the end of the project as a result of non-formal learning process.
