The objectives of this project are: the creation of a training package aimed at trainers and teachers to equip them with the skills for identifying and selecting the best e-learning products and methodologies for the teaching/learning of a foreign language in a business context, as well as to equip them with the skills for the effective use of such products as an alternative and integration into traditional teaching methods. Additional aim is to equip them with the skills for creating their own e-learning course. Target groups are language teachers and trainers specialised in teaching foreign languages in a business context. Activities planned are the research, collection and analysis of existing e-learning products and practices, to be evaluated and validated by language teaching experts. Furthermore the development of a Distance training package organised in 3 modules for the above mentioned objectives, and the creation of a “Ready to Use Kit” containing a selection of tools and interactive software and solutions for the evaluation, use and production of e-learning material in a business context. Testing in each participating countries is included in the project work. Expected results are: Databases of e-learning products, selected and evaluated by experts in the field, training packages for the learning of the 7 partners` languages (EN, ES, IT, DE, LT, SK, PL) and a “Ready to use” package for the production of language e-learning material in a business context. Expected results are the qualification of the target groups in the business sector in order to match the new challenges in language-teaching. The valorisation plan foresees various actions by internet, print media, mailing lists, etc. accessible by the partners`networks also to a wide range of teachers and trainers not participating in the project.
