NGO “ORO – Sustainable Rural Environment” from Novo Orahovo, Serbia will be the hosting organization and organizer a 3.1 Training Course so called “Let's use volunteering for social INclusion” where 24 interested youth from 4 countries: Poland, Macedonia, Hungary and Serbia will participate with the aim to promote the understanding and respect of diversity, social cohesion and voluntarism as a tool for social inclusion. The venue place: Zenta, Serbia.Date: between 23rd and 30th of September, 2011. Duration in days: 6 The theme of the training course is: to promoting social cohesion, social inclusion through volunteering; to meet, share own values and this way to build a partnership with other youth workers with whom they should build a multiplier network on promoting European awareness, social inclusion and volunteering; to contribute in developing high quality and innovative projects in Youth in Action Programme; The main aims and objectives of the training course: building tolerance and mutual understanding among young people; developing and understanding about aspects of active youth participation - volunteering; to be aware of importance of cultural and linguistic diversity and raise sense of tolerance and understanding other cultures; to promote European citizenship, and to make participants aware of their responsibilities as European citizens; to explore the power of non-formal learning and Youthpass; to provide young people an intercultural learning experience, encouraging social – integration; to offer the opportunity to meet partner groups and develop concrete ideas for future projects focusing on social inclusion and volunteering. The methods and methodology of the TC is based on non-formal learning. Group members will experience process of cultural principles such as dialogue, mutual understanding, giving constructive feedback, decision making, self-exploration, attitude of analytical approach.
