Game is not only for kids. To prove it - on 22nd-30th September in Äksi, Estonia will take place youth exchange "Let's play!". This international Erasmus+ project will bring together young people from Czech Republic, Croatia, Turkey, Latvia and Estonia to learn by learning through games. Aim of the project is that young people could learn to learn via experiential games and reflect their learning outcomes. To reach this goal, each participant will bring one game to youth exchange to share it with others. Games which are shared belong to five categories: team-building games, boardgames, role-play games, impro-games and thinking-games. After playing each game there will be reflection and analysis about the game. This project gives participants opportunities to practice game-manager role, but also to be part in different games, take part in reflection and to learn more about themselves via games. Thanks to these steps, participants will learn how to see bigger picture in game as a learning-possibility. Through detail analysis about games, young people will learn how to learn from each other and how to analyse their own learning-points. After youth exchange, participants can put their skills to practice through organizing gameday in their organizations. All games, which are analysed, will be published in gameblog, created by participants. There will be game instructions and also ways to reflect games and when, why and how to implement games. This blog is made for all, who want to discover deeper meaning of games. Thanks to implementing this project, experiential learning will gain more attention and this will lead to learning by doing which is more memorable and effective.
