Lets make it international is a Evs project for one volunteer. Our volunteer is 24 year-old girl from Turkey. The main goal of this Evs project is to bring internationality to our daily work and offer young people of Hyvinkää international experience. Youngsters will have chance to use English when they are communicating with the volunteer. Project will also prevent racism in area of Hyvinkää and will improve people tolerance. With this project we want to show for the people of Hyvinkää that we all are equal Europeans and that all our cultures are valuable things. This project will last for 5 months and it will start 1.9.2009 and will end 1.2.2010. Working methods of this project are: Working with youngsters age 13-17 in open youth centre Silta, participate to youngster's school life and bring piece of internationality to their lessons, keep afternoon clubs for children aged 11-12, be a co-leader in clubs for young people aged 13-17 (International club, Media club, girls afternoon) and advertise youth in action program and especially Evs program for the people of Hyvinkää. This project will also improve the social skills of the volunteer and will give her new tools in international youth work, she will also learn new culture and have chance to effect to her working tasks and goals of this project.
