From 05/07 to 13/07/2015 in Sępólno Krajeńskie (Poland) 31 persons (24 participants + 7 leaders) from 6 countries (Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Italy, Spain and Poland ) will meet to have a common reflection on the values connected with cultural diversity and national identity of the countries participating in the exchange. By using and learning different techniques of handicrafts, cooking traditional dishes, youth is going to discuss, exchange remarks, share what in their countries is the most valuable: art, culture, tradition. Youth will also try to seek a common ground for themselves: what unites all of them and what is valuable in cultural diversity. Handicraft techniques will also be an introduction to the discussion on possibilities of using traditional methods/designs for development of young people’s ideas connected with employability and functioning on the labour market. In a large extent the project will involve the local community of a small Polish town (activities in the homes of inhabitants, an evening with Polish families, the event for the town, open events for the community), which is a special value if we are talking about searching for the values in variety of traditions and cultures. Stimulation games, work in small and large groups, games and plays, interaction with the local community, outdoor activities are just some of the methods that are going to be used, and by which young people acquire many new and valuable competences: intercultural awareness, a sense of identity with their own culture, ability to work in an international group, entrepreneurship, a sense of innovation, ability of turning own ideas into action, project management and ability to create their own reality and future. Project title: " Let's Create it!" is just about all of this.
