The project “Let's act, we are the Europe!” aims to increase the dissemination of information on EU and raise the interest of youth in the decision making process in the EU. The programme of this project was designed to focus on young people with fewer opportunities (young people with a low standard of living), to provide them opportunity to explore the meaning of European values as their common identity and to raise their sense of belonging to Europe, to empower them to take active role in their local communities.We intend to reach our objectives through a youth exchange, where 56 participants, aged between 18 and 25, from different rural areas of EU countries (Sweden, Romania) and neighbouring countries (Moldova, Belarus) have to reflect upon what the EU is and what it should be for them in the future. One of the objectives is to build strong links between participants after the project implementation.The methodology of the Exchange is based on the principles of informal and non formal learning, with an accent to peer-to-peer education. The youth exchange will take place in Ialoveni, Republic of Moldova, in May 2013.
