We can learn about history In different ways. School, books, journeys – that is how we find out about our ancestors and past of the world. We can also learn a lot talking to witnesses of history. In that way, we – young Europeans want to develop our knowledge. Idea of our project was born during past projects in Europe in 2013 and 2014. Participants interested in history will meet together in Zamość in march 2015. We will talk to seniors, wards of Zamojskie Voluntary Service Center. Interviews with seniors will help us to write their memories and to publish it in electronical and paper version. We will save life histories of witnesses of important historical facts from XX century. We will get knowledge which is not possible to learn at school or university. Young people from Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Turkey, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Poland will take part in our project. We will also advertise possibilities of Erasmus + programme to our local societies. Participants of our project will have chance to find out about culture and traditions of Lubelskie region. We will increase awareness of young people and local society about history of XX century. Methods of work: Integration games, workshop, language animation, interview, discussion, presentation, trip, open space, living library.
