LET ME INSIDE:We (4 schools:2 from BE, 1 from FI, and 1 from AT were accepted by the NA ) plan to develop a project through which our pupils may grow in knowledge and understanding of themselves ( increasing self esteem ) and others, even people they never saw ( respect for other people and races ). During the project, the pupils will inform the partner schools about themselves, their way of living, habits, customs, traditions, school activities… using all kinds of techniques from painting, self-made reports, pictures, work of art … to technologies they never saw or used before, developing into designing a joint Comenius logo (logo contest between the schools), making a work of art, informing the others about games and traditions and making a Comenius good news newspaper. They should have a better understanding of all partner school countries, the European Community and their place within it. This will be achieved through many areas of the curriculum such as language, social education, handcraft, art … We will use ICT where possible (to make reports, newspaper … ) and thus improve our pupils skills in this and other areas. The approch: the pupils have to do it by themselfs. The teachers task will be to improve the empowerment of the pupils.*The teacher will explain the pupils the purpose off the themes that shall be worked out during the project.*Than brainstorming session: how to work out the theme, methods, materials, ...*Development of the project is done by the students themselves, the teacher will support the pupils in their work..*Each developed topic will be given to the partner school .
