The project of "Lesný klub Medovka" is focused on connecting people in mutual acceptance and love. It is a community project and will create opportunities for strengthening interpersonal relationships on the basis of together experienced moments filled with meaningful activities. Volunteers who come to our organisation will have the opportunity to meet this objective together with our team. They will help to organize activities and meanwhile learn new things, work on self-improvement and widen own potential. The number of volunteers at the same time is max. 4 and their profile is as following: - age 18 to 30 years, - desire to work with children, parents and to connect people, - basic English language communication, - music, art, sports, organizational or computer skills, - pedagogy degree and experience in working with children are welcomed, - desire to learn new things, - being able to communicate with people - communication skills, - creativity and good organizational skills, - responsibility, empathy. The planned activities include working with kids (3 to years old), parents, youth, families, community - direct communication with the target groups + organizational support and planning activities. The content of the activities will be focused in order to strike the target group (elements of "forest nursery", montessori elements, intuitive pedagogy, arts and crafts, board games and sports, environmental and cultural focus - seminars, workshops and concerts, permaculture growing, raising children, carrying babies in a sling, healthy food, lactation counseling, volunteering, field trips to interesting places, ...). The used methodologies will be as following: informal education, mentoring, supervising, conversations one to one, discussions, informal communication, leadership, motivation, games. The term of the project is: February 1, 2015 till July 31, 2016. The venue will be mostly Medovka o.z. but also some places in Nitra city like the community garden "Hidepark" or "The Youth Forum" and so on. The expected results of the project are: extension of the voluntary awareness in and around the city, cooperation of non-profit organizations in the city and between countries, strengthening community and family relationships - it means that people will be happy to come and join our activities and will regularly come back, personal and professional growth of the volunteers and organizations involved. We believe that the project will also have a long term impact and benefits and will lay the foundations for our work within the Erasmus+ programme for this and also forthcoming programme periods. We really would like to become more and more involved in the community and international cooperation in different new projects.
