Going Dutch for young trainees : LEONED is a multimedia package for young apprentices in catering and healthcare sectors to learn Dutch as a foreign language. The project offers new incentives to learn a foreign language in an attractive, user-friendly, open and distance learning situation, contributing to a context of lifelong learning, lowering the threshold for taking part in work placements in Flanders and the Netherlands and encouraging the integration of non-native students and young employees. This project started in 2000 and lasted 38 months.
