Bundeshandelsakademie Wien 22 („business.academy.donaustadt") is one of the biggest business academies in Vienna. We offer economic expertise and a substantial general education, two elements which contribute to a successful future for our students. The focus of the school is on management, languages and media. Our students can graduate after five years with a school-leaving examination diploma that allows to study at all universities, colleges and academies within tthe European Union In the language-focus classes CLIL is applied in many subjects, in the media-classes the focus is on e-Cool, e-learning and blended-learning. Teachers, who want to participate in the courses in GB are teaching computer studies at our school. She wants to improve her English-skills by developing fluency in speech and communication skills. The intercultural, international, European dimension of the course in GB shall bring benefits to our students when the teacher brings her experience into the classroom. When they learn to understand about this dimension, they can improve their English fluency. When they become successful innovators and opinion leaders one day, it can be a benefit to the image of our school as well. The knowledge of the teacher , gained in the courses, should contribute to the school profile and the applied teaching methods. The theacher chose the courses in GB for improving her own skills and to be able to teach in the newly developed focus groups at our institution. Furthermore we hope to widen our international relationships by sending teachers to an international course.
