After Russia’s joining to the Bologna process, The Kutafin Moscow State Law University introduced framework master’s and bercelor’s degree programs on EU law. This proposal has a goal to make further steps to implement the curriculum in European Law on the ground of new European orientated courses.This Project aims to implement new academic courses (114 hours per year):- “Legal Foundations of the EU-Russia Relations” for master’s degree and postgraduate students and- “EU Trade Law and Russia” for bachelor’s degree studentsin the University curriculum. These courses are coherent and will have a multidisciplinary synergy effect. They will focus on International and European Law provisions between the EU and Russia, which are based on respect of human rights, democracy, the rule of law and other basic common values. This Project will promote meaning of these values among the new generation of Russian law students, teachers and researchers.At the background of new methodologies (website, video lecture) the course “Legal Foundations of the EU-Russia Relations” will be introduced to master’s programmes in terms of distance education. It will be involved in the syllabus for international students in English that provide dissemination of the results at the European and International level. This course may be introduced in other (non-law) departments.All methodological materials and a textbook will be published. Each year the Project will cover two events targeting students and civil society. All the results of them will be published. The research activity under the Project involves a cooperation with other Jean Monnet Actions. Outputs and outcomes and results will be available through open educational resources (the website of the Project), which will be freely available and promoted through open license and without disproportional limitations. It will make the results of the Project open for wide-range audience.
