"Demostene Botez" School is situated in the village Trusesti, Botosani. It is located in a rural area near Botosani. The School is composed of seven structures from pre-school to high school level. Three of them are located in Trusesti and the other in the area, in villages like Drislea, Ionaseni, Buhaceni. Over 30% of the school population is part of dysfunctional families with a high degree of poverty. This leads to a lower graduation, and graduates are not attracted to jobs in the area. The causes of this are: employers do not know how to promote their offer ,parents are not involved enough in the education of children, the school is not preparing themin a appropriate way for the life after graduation. The School needs were detected by means of questionnaires for students, teachers and parents. Questionnaires were interpreted by the school psychologist in conjunction with the members of European programs commission . The results were communicated to the head of school and, with it, it was established that the main need in the school is using non formal methods in the classes. The objectives are: to develop competent teachers to strengthen the transition between formal and non-formal education, to develop skills to integrate non-formal methods in the teaching-learning-assessment process , to adapt curricula to the needs and learning styles of students by introducing non-formal methods, to grow by 5% promotion rate among pupils from terminals classes and by 10% among students in other classes.
