Our main aim with this project is to improve the quality of our teaching of cultural studies and foreign languages at the school, by developing new teaching and assessment strategies and methods. This we plan to do by cooperating in different ways with our partner school in Spain. 5-6 language teachers will take part in job shadowing. 3-4 educational leaders and directors will plan, monitor and assess the project.By exchanging and developing cultural, educational and technological skills, knowledge and competence we believe our students eventually will understand that language skills are more useful and needed in real life than they believe today. We strongly believe the greatest success factor is continuous communication - in different ways. By job shadowing we will experience first-handedly each other's culture and learning environment. This will in turn make the other ways of communication (e.g. eTwinning, Skype, e-mail) more effective, meaningful and ever-lasting. Hopefully this project will strengthen our network and encourage the partners to further cooperation in the future.
