LEARNFORWORK: Valuing formal, non-formal and informal forms of Learning by workers in the forestry sector
Harmonisation in forestry education : Due to a lack of transparency in forestry education, many skills are not officially recognised or are undervalued. Forest workers pick up useful skills as they build up their practical work experience. The project recognises the need for a formal ranking and evaluation system and has developed methods to address the problem. This project started in 2003 and lasted 36 months.
