The project, "Intercultural dialogue and activ European citizenship in the Region Centre Val de Loire" will take place at the Maison de l'Europe de Tours Centre Val de Loire, Europe Direct Information Centre, France, from July 1st 2016 to August 31th 2017. This project will involve two organisations : the Maison de l'Europe de Tours and Volunteers' Centre Zagreb in Zagreb, Croatia. Only one volunteer will be hosted at the Maison de l'Europe de Tours Centre Val de Loire from September 2016 to June 2017, for 10 months.The main topic of this project will be intercultural dialogue and European citizenship in Region Centre Val de Loire that are at the core of the topics raised by both organisations. The hosted volunteer will collaborate with the members of the organisation essentially about the following topics : Slovaque's and maltese's presidencies of the Council of the EU, Croatia (culture, language, society, political system, etc.). Those topics will be developped through various educational activities such as workshops, information, exhibitions, educational tools, publication, organisation of European coffees and other intercultural events, Website updating and social networks. The volunteer might benefit of French language classes at the CUEFEE (Centre Universitaire d’Enseignement du Français pour étudiants étrangers). Other learning opportunities will be offered to her in the association or through the Erasmus + programm, if she expresses the need.
