The Language Facilitator project aims to provide practical, active language skills for professionals working with transnational training, placement and mobility initiatives, with a particular focus on those working withLeonardo da Vinci mobility projects. Project partners will design, develop and introduce a package of self-study instruments for pre-intermediate language learning in PT, ES, FR, DE & EN and elementary language learning in SK. The full language-learning package will include specific language learning materials, a glossary of terminology essential to the profession and a best practice manual and will be designed to allow the learner access to an accompanying language trainer to provide assistance and support, to monitor progress and to provide evaluation of the study undertaken. The language-learning tool will be freely available via a dedicated web platform allowing learner access anytime and anyplace. Dissemination of the end results will be directed at all those working in the organisation of mobility, for which there is an identified need for such a tool. Information on project activities and results will be hosted on individual partner websites and will be circulated through direct mailing of information on the project (traditional & electronic) to a wide range of organisations working in education, training & mobility. An official launch of the project results is also planned in each of the partner countries.
