The Language and Tradition project focuses on the coaching and teaching of migrant and minority children. The venue takes place in Vienna, the multilingual and multicultural capital of Austria in Ungarischer Schulverein. The main themes are minority children, some of them living with fewer opportunities. The objectives are to take part in the organization of education, events, excursions and to teach these children by all possible means, to offer them equal chances with their healthy peers . The Service will run for 6 months. There will be 2 countries involved: Austria and Hungary. The activities will vary from day to day; it will be a lot of playing, fun, some lectures, excursions, outdoor activities, English learning, sports, music and arts. The methods also present a wide range of approaches, starting with practical and ending with the theoretical one. In-between the classes there will be a lot of non-formal learning, induced by the teachers and tried out by the volunteers. The teaching will not be unidirectional; all of us will teach and learn from each other.
