Our Organisation Europahaus der Pfarre Pulkau, located in Lower Austria, may welcome many youth groups in their area each year. But the international youth meetings in the context of the EU youth programs Erasmus +, often titled with us as "Euro Smile" is the heart of our work. The event will take place August 2 to August 14 2016, excluding travel days. We expect 42 pending young people for two weeks to deal with the issue of immigration, emigration and refugee policies themselves. They are coming from Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Austria and a emigrant group from Iran, Somalia and Afghanistan, represented by a austrian organisation for refugees. They represent different cultural communities and different social classes, especially from the part of the population with fewer material resources, participants in youth work, in a social or educational program of their region. They will analyze from their perspective and from the political decisions in Austria and in Europe as well as the attitude of the population to these new relevance. Each person and each country group comes with their own experiences of youth work and has their own point of view. Our goal is are not only to indicate the differences but to light many similarities and the participants motivated to take a part on the democratic decisions in their country. The new generation as well have to recognize the European ideals and the advantage for their country and the entire continent. In spite of the expected impact of our titel and topic of our projekt on the mind all those involved, the planned activities are not a political manifesto but a result of the cooperation between us and the group leader in each country and are an expression of free choice and informal participation in implementation of the program, as an individual, but also as a community, are. The workshops help for their openness to the "other" also enjoy a common path and a collaboration where each can contribute, whether creative, educative or sporty. The discussions with the politicians to explain the taken decisions and the effect over the population to achieve a positive attitude towards European migration policy and the measures taken and the refugees whos living in our region to beeing hosted in dignity. And the participation of young people from emigrated families or refugee children, will confronts us with the reality of their life and not only with a negative headline, will bring us closer and allow a concrete dialogue between youth same age from different cultures and religions of the world.Regarding the process, the project was planned with group representatives and all those responsible and all main points discussed by the theme of the year, daily program, care, safety, workshop management, contacts with other parties, logistics, catering up to expected results. All that we want to implement with a certain flexibility and seriousness . The place of implementation, the complex of the Europahaus Pulkau with Hostel, seminar rooms, protected playground, large courtyard and a large garden, has the necessary infrastructure for a youth meeting and not only meets the criteria necessary equipment for modern youth work but also the security measures be examined by the independent authorities annually. For the leisure activity we have in the city several sports facilities. We have also planned two excursions, one to Vienna and one for outdoor activities. The youth meeting this year in Pulkau entitled "Landed not Stranded. For a correct handling with a new migration culture" should lead mainly to an awareness and offer suggestions for private decisions but also for the practice in youth work. The non-formal learning have to enable an application for all youth groups, whether they intend to use in the school community, or in recreational facilities, or independent groups. Our two weeks intercultural youth meeting will end with a large final local event. We are confident taht all the projekt will have a good influence on the local and on the Austrian population of our region. Europahaus Pulkau will establish a platform for discussion about asylum and human rights and we continue the dialogue which we have begun in these days together with a youth on national and international level. Our Facebook comunity will use the instruments of modern communication and reach many young people. The media social networks, especially through Internet contacts also help us with all participants to exchange on our projects and to achieve through our collaboration in their projects in each country a long-term benefit of all participants.
