The project aimed at a better exploitability of the area between the catch drain in Romania and the dike in Hungary. On the Hungarian side, the required documentation was produced: the geodesy surveys of channels and line-based facilities. On the Romanian side, the geodesy survey of channels was performed together with obtaining and processing ortophotos on the design area. A spatial model of the design area was produced together with an ecology survey of the area, a preliminary environment and nature protection impact study, a landscape rearrangement study of the design area, a study of tourism on the area, licensed plans for water replacement in the area, and licensed plans for public utilities to provide for the proposed infrastructure.
