The young people through active involvement in our organization strivie to popularize and develop volunteering in Poland. It is them who have noticed a spreading problem of volunteers in Poland. On the one hand, they have observed a very low level of interest in this form of social activity , on the other hand , many people have wrong image of volunteering and stereotyped way of thinking about social work. Therefore, the main objective of the project is to increase competences among 30 volunteers from Poland and Hungary during the 7 days of youth exchange in Okuninka city. It will be realized through the achievement of specific objectives like: development of interpersonal skills of young volunteers in order to build a positive image in the community and to promote the idea of volunteering in rural communities . We assume that mutual cooperation between the participants from Poland and Hungary will improve their competencies. The planed workshops aimed at discussing methods of interest in volunteering and encouragement people to take active part in the development of volunteering . In addition, young people will take part in spontaneous social actions consisting helping accidental passersby and organization of the Flashmob . Through these activities we want to show how great opportunities are offered by the Erasmus + , we want to inform tourists and local residents how beneficial is participation in organizations related to volunteering . Związek Młodzieży Wiejskiej is convinced about the positive results of the project and we believe that a better understanding and cooperation between the participants will establish with new relationships, friendships , and long term cooperation between our organizations.
