"The Beauty of Our Professions in Europe 2016-2017", is part of Erasmus+ Programme, the Action key 1- Youth Exchange, and consists of two exchanges, one in Luxembourg and one in Romania, implemented by Coopération Humanitaire Luxembourg asbl., in partnership with the FAM Humanitarian Association from Gura Humorului, Romania. The first exchange in Luxembourg, will bring together 24 young people (16-19), from partner countries who are highly motivated to participate in this project. The romanian students have a basic knowledge of French, and six team leaders, who carry out specific activities to Luxembourg, between 16 and 21 October 2016 and, in Romania between 15 and 21 October 2017. The main focus of activities will be to educate young people about the importance of all professions, especially in small communities on the importance of preserving and promoting traditional crafts, and develop other new, to facilitate economic and individual development. Another goal is to improve their career skills and to increase the employability of young people. In addition, the project meets certain objectives and priorities Erasmus+, KA1, such as awareness and understanding of cultures and participants of their country, promoting international cooperation among young people, promoting the acquisition of foreign languages (French) promoting equity and inclusion by the inclusion of vulnerable youth, the protection and safety of participants, development of skills and competences important to mention in Youthpass. During the 12 days of the project, using methods such as: photography, making videos, role playing, hiking, football, team-building activities, self-reflection and moments of group-reflection. Participants will get a better knoweldege of Romanian rural reality, but from Luxembourg too, they will make comparisons and they will try to achieve the project objectives. Participants will strengthen the group, through activities organized in Luxembourg and Gura Humorului (1 day), by strengthening the team and, the knowledge of both organizations, CHL and FAM, they will continue with four days of talks, debates, exchange of good practices in laboratories and brainstorm on how they learned trades in Luxembourg and Romania. Then, they continue during four days to explore the ancient crafts of Luxembourg (Belval, Rumelange, Capellen) and Romania (Marginea, Cacica, Sucevita, Suceava - Village Museum, Manastirea Humorului, Poiana Micului). They also discuss (2 days) on European citizenship and how they are seen today, European policies on the working market and of professions, on how is resolved the professions and work issues for disabled people, will visit European Parliament, the city Hall of Gura Humorului, Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava. The project will end in Gura Humorului (1 day), they prepare dissemination material: an e-book / blog that will promote professions discovered in the BeauNoME project, context and activities during the exchanges, they will also establish the strategy of online promotion and, they will share responsibilities in small groups.The BeauNoME project impact will be on three levels:Participants will develop a range of skills, knowledge, attitudes, such as teamwork, communication in the mother tongue and in French, e-skills, math skills, significant knowledge about the professions of yesterday and today in both countries, the ability to learn to learn, and self-awareness. Finally, they will receive a certificate Youthpass, which will officialy confirme, the results of BeauNoME project.Furthermore, the participating organizations will be able to strengthen theirs partnership, to share experience and knowledge on the subject of the project, and create new partnerships.Also, the participating organizations will be able to strengthen their partnership to share experience and knowledge on the subject of the project, and create new partnerships.There will also be positive impacts for the communities and for the local youth, that will increase their awareness of the importance and beauty of the surrounding area and. The participants should become more confident about themselves and become more implicated active citizens and thus help to improve the current reality.We believe that all the above results have a long term impact, because they will help young people to choose a future career, raise awareness to the importance of traditional craftsmanship and the beauty of local communities, and will want to take measures and produce changes, they will also build a long term partnership with the partner organizations involved in the project, which represents a starting point for other projects.
