The overall goal is to sustain and maintain a sustainable network and to support the participation of Central Asia in the modernisation of higher education with curriculum development and quality assurance. Supported by a Tempus project, Canqa, particular actions and guidance in the organization of the mobility should guarantee better adaptation of curriculum to the needs of a knowledge-based society. The project fosters likewise inter-human contacts and cross-cultural communication, which should lead to a closer cooperation in sciences and technology, science and education.The project aims at spin-of activities and sustainable impact. The implementation of the mobility scheme is supported by an strategic national plan: information sessions are to be given within each respective national education ministry, authorities and embassies are widely informed about the project objectives and outcomes, contacts with other universities – ministries – NGOs – public and private associations, counselling sessions for interested applicants, meetings with teaching staff of the involved faculties/departments, regular reports published on the project website, specific actions and strategy to reach Target Groups 2 and 3, regular publications and information sessions for the media (regional and national).
