In this application, three project managers from three different educational centres in rural Iceland are going to Sweden and Ireland to learn about adult education for people with mental disabilities, learning disabilities, autism and diverse impairment. The idea is to stay for a five days in each country, and the main reason for us to select those countries are that promoters of the project are in collaboration with “Fjölmennt” which is an educational centre and the staff over there advised us to select Sweden and Ireland. The purpose of the trip is to learn new learning possibilities and hopefully new approach in similar activities, and be able to offer children here in Iceland more selection of education. Hopefully we will be able to offer other project managers in Iceland different learning methods and new educational way of thinking, and there is a good possible that we can extend cooperation with the schools we are visiting.
