The aim of the project "Towards Democracy" was to strengthen cooperation between young people involved in the work of student organizations, operating at universities in Poland and Ukraine. Both groups working for the Polish-Ukrainian, interested in the history of both countries, and understand the need to find common sources of national identity. The aim of the project was also to plan for further cooperation between the participants, to know the recent history of the two countries and to support young people as leaders of non-governmental organizations, active young citizens. To acomplish theese aims We organised an exchange between polish and ukrainian active youth from NGOs. In an exchange participants took part in workshops regarding topics self-development (me as a leader, motivation, television speeches), deelopment of participants' organisations (project development, using neural talents of co-workers, social media marketing) and also historical and intercultural. Also there was a sport event - cayaking ang sightseeing of Włodawa known as the city of three cultures.
