Zespół Szkół Budowlanych in Poznań (ZSB) at the Vocational and High School of Construction Trades in Poznań (3/4 year study programme ) wishes to carry out the project Erasmus+ for students of the Technical College of Construction Trades and the Technical College of Landscape Architecture entitled ,,Vocational education without borders – vocational training abroad as a professional opportunity and adventure ‘’. Practice in Germany is a good investment for the future of the students of the Vocational and High School of Construction Trades in Poznań. It is intended to take the project actions in the period of 12 months starting on 1 September 2016, including 2 external vocational trainings, each for 16 students and 2 carers, in the Education Centre of the Vocational Advancement Service of the Association of Construction Industry of Berlin-Brandenburg in Frankfurt (Oder).The Group I will take part in an external vocational training in February 2017 and will take up activities of bricklaying such as bonds, vaults and arches. Its participants will be students of II-III classes of the Technical College of Construction Trades.The Group II will participate in the training in July 2017 and the participants will learn to make a small pond and build outdoor areas, paths and elements from natural granite stones to achieve aesthetic outcomes of landscape architecture. This training is intended for the students of II-III classes of the Technical College of Landscape Architecture. The external vocational training in Germany will last 2 weeks for each group. As a part of preparation for the training the students will take part in preparatory courses such as a vocational course, a language course, a cultural course and a health and safety training. The participants of the project of the external vocational training in Germany will get a Europass Mobility, a certificate of the German Institution and a certificate of completion of the language and vocational training.As a part of the cultural programme the participants will visit Berlin and Potsdam.The aim of the project for the students of the Technical College of ZSB is an enrichment of the offer of the practical education as well as a good preparation for entering the labour market. The training is a supplement of the vocational activities for the students of ZSB, all the more they often come from poor families. It creates for them the only opportunity to participate in an external vocational training. This kind of project helps the students become more independent, responsible and reliable employees in the labour market.
